Lucozade Energy is challenging fans to ‘Do More’ with their energy this summer by offering the chance to win one of five amazing physical challenges taking place across the globe. Today, the team at Lucozade Energy announce James Whatley as the winner who has been given the dream job of jetting around the world to capture content and report back on these experiences.
From sand-boarding the highest dunes of the Namibian Skeleton Coast to racing an ex-America’s Cup yacht in the Caribbean, one winner and three mates will get the opportunity to go on one of five challenges, with James on hand to report back on all the action.
James will capture every last detail of the trip, taking photos, videos, tweeting on Twitter and blogging about the escapades of each challenge winner on the Lucozade Energy website. With a love for extreme sports and a keen snowboarder, James will join each winning group on their physical challenge and spur them on, as they battle with sand, snow and sea.
James is no stranger to reporting back on his adventures via the web and mobile with an online presence including a number of blogs and a venture into co-founding ‘The Really Mobile Project’, a news website created to cover the latest news, reviews and events in the world of mobile tech.
James and the winning team will jet set off on a quest to conquer the world’s largest sand-dune on the Namibian Skeleton Coast on 4 July. You can follow the winners’ adventures here and also by checking out the Lucozade Energy Facebook page, where there will be regular updates, photos and videos on their experience.
The next challenge involves taking on the ultimate Wild West adventure in Montana and will open for entries on Friday 26 June 2009, so keep your eyes on here so you don’t miss out on taking part in the challenge of a lifetime. To be in with a chance, simply visit Lucozade Energy, enter the challenge and invite three mates to share the experience.
