The application synchronizes with you Facebook account and pulls all you contact photos and contact information like addresses, Birthdays, and job titles from your friends list and links them with your contacts in your iPhone address book.
You can call your friends on the phone, even send them a Facebook message or write on their wall all from this app.
Once downloaded My Phone+ allows you a visual contact list and lets you tap a picture and call someone directly, it’s a very smart app and can tell similar names and give you the option to pick which contact might be the right person.
When customizing the MyPhone application it lets you adjust the quality of the images it imports and allows you to choose whether or not to overwrite information in your contact list, but you cannot edit your contact from the application.
The feature I like best on the MyPhone+ is the visual list which displays the names and pictures of my favourites, I can just tap the picture and it dials, just the thing for speed and ease of use. You can also view contacts Birthdays which for many is a feature love in Facebook for the visual reminder, unfortunately it doesn’t give you a push notification reminder which I hope to see added later down the line if that is possible.
The application also has a shake function to pop open the search field for contacts, easy to use. In my opinion a great app for Facebook lovers and even if you’re not actively looking for a dialer it’s great for the social networking buff on the move. I bought this at a reduced cost of £1.79 and was worth every penny.
