The new directory enquiry service from mobile phones

The Cost of making a 118 directory enquiry call shocks mobile users

HowitWorks

68100 – New Directory Enquiry service from your Mobile – 70% Cheaper than calling 118

Do you know how much it costs to make a 118 Directory Enquiry call? If the answer is No, then you are not on your own. In fact, research by Which revealed the true cost of getting the right numbers is 3 times higher than most Britons believe as you will see in this article by the Daily Mail

The new Directory Enquiry service, (www.68100.co.uk), is now available which means there is no longer a need for UK to make overpriced and expensive 118 calls. 68100 called from your mobile is just 35p per minute, that’s a 70% saving over 118 numbers. There is a trade off though…..For this drastically reduced price all you have to do is listen to a 20 second advert before you receive your requested number. For the sake of saving approximately £1 per call, I’ll happy listen to a 20 second advert.

Once you put down the phone you’ll receive a text message with the requested number as well as the offer from the advertiser in case you want to take it up later or pass on to friends and family. Not only that, but if the offer is of interest then you can push 2 connect through to the advertiser to understand more about the offer.

This could be just the start of an ad-funded existence where more and more of your day to day services will become cheaper or even free.

    This is a brilliant idea!
These 118 Directory numbers have been ripping us off for too long now. At last there’s a service that offers value for money. 35p a minute is all we should have to pay to find a number. Bring it on!
